Richard recently held his latest town hall meeting at The Orchard Centre in Biggleswade.
Commenting he said:
It was a very engaged discussion with residents at my latest town hall in King’s Reach where we discussed a range of topics from local healthcare, roads, the train service and driving test wait times, to the future of our democracy and votes at 16. Thank you to everyone for coming along and contributing to the conversation.
These sessions are a great way for me to hear what matters most to local people and helps inform my exchanges with local organisations and in Westminster.
Following on from this meeting, I have written to the transport minister to ask about the progress in making more driving tests available and the recruitment of examiners. I will post their reply on my website when received.
And next week I am meeting with both the Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Public Affairs at GTR to discuss the appalling service that commuters in the east of my constituency suffer day after day.
Richard's next town hall meeting is taking place at Oakley Village Hall at 7.30pm on Thursday 4 September. All welcome. Please check his website, which is updated regularly, for details of future town hall meetings and surgeries at https://www.richardfuller.co.uk/surgeries
