Richard Fuller MP with Treasury Minister Emma Reynolds MP

Richard recently met with Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Emma Reynolds MP, to discuss banking hubs in Sandy and Biggleswade.

Richard Fuller MP said:

I followed up my recent meeting with Link about banking hub applications for Sandy and Biggleswade by meeting the Minister herself.

Banking hubs provide banking services when bank branches are not available and assessed against the current rules of the scheme, neither Sandy nor Biggleswade qualify.

I used my meeting to press the case for more “flex” in the assessments to take account of the rapid pace of change due to new housing in the area.
