Just before Riseley and Wilden Primary Schools broke for the summer holidays, Richard was invited alongside Cllr Jim Weir to judge the students' presentations. The children from both schools has been working collaboratively in vertical groups to design and budget for a new theme park, culminating in this presentation to judges.
Richard Fuller MP said:
I thoroughly enjoyed an end of term visit to Riseley Primary School to review ten presentations by pupils from Riseley and Wilden Primary schools.
Last October, the ten teams were set the challenge to create ideas and business plans for a Theme Park - picking up on the excitement of the potential new theme park in Bedfordshire.
Principal Mr. Pointon and Deputy Mayor Cllr Jim Weir and I were mightily impressed by the thorough approach taken by each team and their ability to answer our questions.
A great way to end the school year.
