On Thursday 26 June, Richard is holding a public meeting with Historic England regarding the retrofitting of listed buildings to improve energy and heating efficiency.
It will take place from 2pm until 3.30pm at Great Barford Village Hall, 6 Fishers Close, Great Barford, MK44 3JL. In addition to representatives from Historic England,
Richard Fuller MP said:
One of the issues that owners of listed buildings face is that of being able to 'modernise' their homes in a way that reduces bills and increases comfort, whilst satisfying the sometimes stringent rules that govern what they can and can't do to their property.
I am delighted that members of the Local Authority planning and conservation departments will also be attending, along with Historic England to hear first hand about the issues people face and the kind of solutions they would like to see made available.
If you own a listed building in North Bedfordshire and would feel this meeting may be useful for you, please come along on June 26th and participate in the discussion.
