Richard has been continuing his campaign to expose the severe deficiencies in our local police process to renew or grant gun licences, and recently visited the Bedford Rifle Club in Clapham. Bedford Rifle Club, which was established in 1929, is a premier precision small-bore rifle and airgun target shooting club.

Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:

Last week's visit to the Bedford Rifle Club did not reveal me as a secret marksman (though I wasn’t awful), but it DID reveal many new stories of people’s lives and potential being held back by unacceptably long delays in licensing.

Why are our police allowing these ridiculous delays? Is it a deliberate policy ? I want answers for sure, but more immediately I want improvements. This is no joke: improvements must be made urgently.

What a disgrace!
