John Tizard, the Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner, and Richard have introduced quarterly catch-up meetings. Last week, they discussed a range of issues affecting Bedfordshire police and local residents.
Summarising the meeting, Richard Fuller MP said:
I was encouraged by Mr. Tizard's commitment to fighting the scourge of hare coursing and his recognition of both the economic damage and mental anguish that this horrible crime has on many of those in our rural communities.
I also particularly welcome the actions underway on firearms licensing which has been a source of enormous frustration for many. To quote the Police and Crime Commissioner:
