Last week, Richard attended an apprentices reception in Parliament hosted by ADS-Group - the UK trade association advancing leadership in aerospace, defence, security and space.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
I am a big believer in apprenticeships and am proud of the 5.4m apprenticeships delivered between 2010-2024 and the introduction of T-levels under the last government.
It was very encouraging to see such a big turnout and it was great to catch-up with and hear the experiences of apprentices from Lockheed Martin and from Cranfield, just outside the edge of my constituency.
ADS figures highlight that more than 23,000 apprentices are currently employed across the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors in the UK.
