This week, Richard received a reply from the Chief Secretary to the Treasury following his joint letter with neighbouring Bedfordshire MP, Blake Stephenson, asking for an update on the proposed Universal theme park.
Richard Fuller MP said:
It was a disappointing response from the Chief Secretary to the Treasury to the recent letter that Blake Stephenson, MP for Mid Bedfordshire, and I sent regarding the proposed Universal theme park outside of Bedford.
I remain confident that this project will eventually be given the green light and hope the government is doing everything it can to finalise an agreement to bring this significant investment to Bedfordshire.
