CBC Budget Consultation

Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) are setting their annual budget and again asking residents who live in the CBC area to provide comments on key aspects of their plans.

Commenting, Richard Fuller MP said:

This year is an important one. CBC advise they are facing some significant budgetary pressures and, although they are proposing to increase council tax by the maximum 3% (plus 2% for social care) that is allowed without a referendum, the council is still also proposing some important reductions in funding.

Giving your views doesn’t take long and I encourage those living in the Central Bedfordshire Council area to complete the online survey before the closing deadline on February 4th.

You can see what is being proposed and give your thoughts at the CBC Budget web page using the following link: https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/info/335/budget_2025-2026
