On Tuesday 17th December Rachel Reeves will be presented with a list of all the people who have signed the petition against the family farm tax.

Richard Fuller MP said:

At the election, Labour repeatedly said they backed our family farmers. But this assault on Britain’s family farms, announced at the Budget, undermines our food security and threatens further increases in the cost of the weekly food shop. Last Wednesday, farmers drove their tractors to Parliament to express their anger and opposition to the cruel Family Farm Tax proposed by the Labour government.

Across Bedfordshire, family farms have grown food for our shelves - passing on their skills and passion from generation to generation. The Labour budget directly and deliberately targets this and will see less food being grown here with family farms being swallowed up by larger businesses, or worse still, sold off to developers.

There is still a chance to change the government’s mind, so please sign the petition by Tuesday at https://www.whatlaboursaid.com/stop-the-family-farm-tax
