Richard remains committed to doing all he can to help bring the Universal theme park to Bedfordshire and this week spoke of his frustration and concern at the lack of evident progress in reaching a decision.
Commenting, Richard Fuller MP said:
My fellow Bedfordshire MP, Blake Stephenson MP and I have written to the Chancellor asking for a meeting to discuss the matter further.
As we say in our letter, it could simply be the case that commercial sensitivities prohibit speculation and discourse at what could be a crucial stage of negotiations in which case then we, like all others will bide our time and wait for news. If hurdles have developed with the bid however and there is any assistance that Blake and I can offer, then we stand ready to help in any way needed.
