Cleat Hill Surgery

A tragic gas explosion in Cleat Hill, Ravensden, last weekend has claimed the life of one resident and left another resident in critical condition.

Richard Fuller MP said:

This devastating incident has displaced a number of neighbouring households, and my thoughts and condolences go out to all those affected.

This week, I visited and met with residents at the St Mark's Church Hub, which is providing crucial support to those impacted by this tragedy. I have also spoken with the emergency services and have written to the Home Office requesting urgent central government funding to help Bedford Borough Council in their efforts to support the displaced residents during this difficult time.

The St Mark's Church Hub (Calder Rise, MK41 7UY) is open daily from 9am to 8pm, offering a safe space for those affected to gather, access essential services, and receive advice. Bedford Borough Council is working tirelessly to provide emergency accommodation and ensure that residents have what they need to get through this difficult period.

On Saturday 26th October, I am holding a surgery for those residents affected by the tragic explosion on Cleat Hill last weekend. The surgery will be held at St Mark's Church starting at 10am.

I will continue to work closely with the Council and emergency services to ensure that everyone receives the help they need.

If you or someone you know needs help, please contact Bedford Borough Council on 01234 267422 for updates and support.
