Earlier this month, Richard was pleased to join Mayor Tom Wootton and Councillors Dylan Simmons and Robert Rigby at Bromham Baptist Church to celebrate the church’s centenary year. The church, formed by two men returning from the fields of Northern France in the First World War, has been on the same site for nearly the entire duration of the hundred years after moving there from what is now Box End.
After the service, Richard Fuller MP said:
The church serves its community with an open community café Mondays through Wednesdays, regular activities for children, pensioners, and young families, and two services every Sunday.
I had an enjoyable time at the service and would like to thank Pastor Steven Thompson for his kind invitation to the event. While I may not be around for the next centenary, I wish Bromham Baptist Church all the best for their next 100 years.
