LNER are encouraging charities, organisations and communities across their 956-mile route to apply for the latest round of funding from their Customer and Community Investment Fund (CCIF) which closes on 2 September,

The Fund aims to support charities and causes along their route, providing vital funding to small and medium sized projects that deliver a positive impact to important issues.

There are three priorities the fund supports:

  • Better for People
  • Better for Places
  • Better for Planet

Those applying need to be located within 15 miles of the LNER route and the maximum amount that can be applied for is £10,000.
