Last week in Parliament, Richard asked whether the Church of England provides guidance to parishes on the sale of land where there is local opposition to that sale.

Richard Fuller MP said:

During a recent surgery, a local resident talked to me about a recent experience regarding the potential change of land use that involved the local Diocese. This gave me a rare opportunity to ask a question of the “Second Church Estates Commissioner”.

The Commissioner is a Member of Parliament and is the link between the House of Commons and the Church of England. The current Church Commissioner is our own Bedfordshire MP, Andrew Selous who gave a thorough and helpful response on the issue.
