Earlier this month, Richard was invited to address the Bedfordshire Business Breakfast Club - a networking event sponsored by Metro Bank, Mazars and Woodfines Solicitors that takes place at the Bedfordshire Golf Club.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
It is always a pleasure to be invited to address the Bedfordshire Breakfast Club and show support for our local businesses. The events are always very informal and that helps spark a lively conversation. I always try to be frank and drop any political point scoring – to discuss openly and in detail the pros and cons of some recent policy choices.
We discussed measures in the recent Budget, prospects for future interest rate cuts, the potential investment by Universal Studios and, unavoidably, possible dates for the next election.
I place my faith in our entrepreneurs, our family businesses and farmers, our small businesses and the freelancers, and I will continue to promote building a society that rewards the extra risks they are prepared to take to help grow the economy, provide jobs and generate wealth.
