Richard joined Biggleswade Mayor's Green Wheel Charity Walk. a 4 mile walk which began at Dan Albone Car Park and followed the picturesque path along the River Ivel, concluding at the White Hart Pub. The walk included visiting the newly refurbished Franklins Recreational Ground and The Lakes football pitches.
Speaking afterwards, Richard Fuller MP said:
I recently joined Biggleswade Mayor, Mark Foster, and other residents to enjoy a sun filled walk along part of the Biggleswade Green Wheel, supporting the Mayor’s chosen charities and getting to learn more about the accessibility of our green spaces.
The Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity does so much good work engaging local people with our natural environment and maintaining our footpaths and bridleways and are champions of the “green wheel” walks that aim to circle and connect some of our larger towns: Potton; Sandy and Biggleswade.
Money was raised for the Mayor’s chosen charities: Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice , Mind BLMK and Tourettes Action.
