Richard contributes to the debate on the Privileges Committee Special Report

Last week, Richard spoke in a debate about comments that some MPs had made prior to the release of the Privileges Committee Report into Boris Johnson. Richard full contrbution can be watched at https://youtu.be/mDuTfBtsxeY

Richard Fuller MP said:

It was an arduous job for those MPs who sit on the Committee and it is just common courtesy to wait for their findings to be published if you wish to disagree.

However, I did think that having made this point on courtesy we should not go further and sanction MPs who had chosen to express their thoughts rather sooner. Happily, the House of Commons decided to take no further action. Time to move on.
