Last week, Richard joined Biggleswade Councillors and the Town Council at an introductory meeting with the new GP team that will lead the Ivel Valley Practice.
Speaking after the visit, Richard Fuller MP said:
After difficult months and some uncertainties, my sense was that this meeting provided the reassurance that the Town Council was seeking.
The new team and the regional health board were keen to emphasise that it was “early days” but my own observation was that focus is being placed in the right areas to have most effect in the next few months.
We all agreed to meet again in a few months when these measures have had a chance to take effect.
