Two North East Bedfordshire businesses have been awarded King's Awards for Enterprise. The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for UK businesses and are valid for five years.

I was delighted to see two businesses from my constituency achieve awards under the King's Awards for Enterprise scheme.
SunGod, who manufacture and retail performance sunglasses and snow goggles received a King's Award in the Sustainable Development category, whilst Tinware Direct. who supply bespoke solutions in metal and cardboard packaging. were recognised with an Award for International Trade. Many congratulations to both businesses for securing such highly coveted awards.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of:
- innovation
- international trade
- sustainable development
- promoting opportunity through social mobility
