On 30th March, London Luton Airport representatives will be in Potton to talk to residents who have been affected by noise disturbance since the flight path changes were made. The event takes place at The Pavillion, Mill Lane, Potton, SG19 2PG on Thursday 30th March 2023 between 1.30pm-7pm. It is possible to book an individual appointment between those times here: https://www.london-luton.co.uk/surgery-booking-form
Speaking ahead of the event, Richard said: "On behalf of constituents who have been affected by noise disturbance, I have campaigned against these changes. The plans were flawed from the start, with an inadequate consultation in 2020 and this meeting provides an opportunity for residents to meet one-to-one with representatives of the Flight Operations Team.
I have arranged a meeting with them on the 30th March too. Although I have met with representatives of London Luton Airport, including the Chief Executive, in the past, I will be doing so again so that I can leave them in no doubt about the strength of feeling about the changes.
If you are being disturbed by noise from these changes, it is important that you also log this disturbance on the Airport's website so that they have as much information as possible. The changes are still subject to the Post Implementation Review by the Civil Aviation Authority and the Review period has been extended to September -Reducing the impact of noise - London Luton Airport (london-luton.co.uk)"
