Last week, Richard attended the Climate Coalition's Green Heart Hero Awards celebration in Parliament. The awards celebrate the incredible work happening up and down the country to tackle climate change.
Richard Fuller MP said:
I was particularly pleased that two of my constituents, Asha and Jia Kirkpatrick, were nominated in the Future Leaders category for their amazing success in persuading Kellogg's to stop using unsustainable palm oil in their products.
Asha and Jia started a petition that reached 900,000 signatures, met with Kellogg's UK CEO and CSO and secured a pledge from Kellogg’s that they will switch to using a more sustainable palm oil product and launch a Global Deforestation policy that will help to mitigate deforestation. Congratulations Asha and Jia.
