Richard welcomed the announcement that between 20 August 2022 and 25 November 2022, The National Lottery Community Fund awarded £213,159.00 to community projects in North East Bedfordshire.

The largest recipient was Above & Beyond Cancer Foundation, a charity based in Biggleswade since 2013 who do excellent work helping people diagnosed with cancer regain a sense of control.

The National Lottery Community Fund is providing National Lottery funding for activities and events to help communities celebrate His Majesty The King’s Coronation later this year. Groups based in North East Bedfordshire that want to apply should submit by 11 February at this web address.
