Richard questions the Housing and Planning Minister about protections for local communities in the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill

During the recent debate on the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill, Richard questioned the Housing and Planning Minister about closing the loophole that is exploited by developers when local plans are in abeyance.

Richard Fuller MP said:

During the debate, I highlighted that this loophole was almost exploited to introduce an unwanted development in Harrold, and it was only the efforts of the local Parish Council and Borough Councillor Alison Field-Foster that prevented this happening.
