Richard holds a town hall meeting in Clapham

Last Thursday, Richard held the latest of his Town Hall meetings in Clapham.

Speaking after the event, Richard said:

As always, we had a healthy and constructive discussion around a number of topics and I'm grateful to all who gave up their time to come and share their views.

It was also great to see Cllr Jane Walker and Cllr Philippa Sims there representing both the Parish and Bedford Borough Councils.

Last week, Richard met again with the head of Firearms Licensing for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. The signs are that the new processes and increased personnel are helping to reduce the backlog and speed up the process for new applications and renewals.
