Last week, Richard visited local business, RAPIvD - a research company operating at the cutting edge of rapid in vitro diagnostics and particularly, lateral flow technology.

Dr Rob Porter and the team are doing some very impressive work in the area of lateral flow tests which have the potential to provide diagnoses of an enormous range of illnesses, potentially leading to greater self-testing and taking a significant strain off the primary healthcare system.
We have a wealth of extremely impressive businesses across the North East Bedfordshire constituency and I was delighted to visit RAPIvD and hear about their fascinating work.
