Last Saturday at Party on Potton, Richard met with Respite at Home Volunteers West Mid Beds and Ivel Valley. The volunteers work from five centres across Bedfordshire providing friendship, support and respite to those with urgent care needs, their families and carers.

Respite at Home Volunteers West Mid Beds and Ivel Valley has been supporting families in Bedfordshire with a range of life limiting illnesses for the last 23 years. Their volunteers are a help families in so many ways with friendship, practical help and advice and some much-needed time off and respite for the carer in the family.
Mandy, Nicola and Janet have done great work to create such a warm environment for volunteers. If you have some spare time and want to provide some much needed help I really recommend you get in touch with them.
