Country Days is an educational charity providing outdoor learning in a beautiful nature reserve for young people aged 7–11 yrs in Bedfordshire, giving them the opportunity to explore nature and reconnect with the wild to enhance their mental wellbeing and educational needs.
Country Days is running two, two-day courses this summer, open to primary school children in years 3-6 who live in Bedfordshire. The courses are taking place at The Leys Nature Reserve, Pavenham Road, Felmersham, Bedfordshire, MK43 7EX on:
- Tuesday 9th – Wednesday 10th August
- Thursday 11th – Friday 12th August
The cost is £15 for each two-day course or free for those who receive Free School Meals or the Pupil Premium. The theme for the Summer Courses is Treasure Island. Activities will include: campfire cooking; raft-building; cartography; arts & crafts; bug-hunting; orienteering; den-building; and archery. Activities begin at 9.30am and finish at 3.15pm.
