On Friday, Richard visited Milton Ernest Hall as part of Care Home Open Week which offers the opportunity to connect care homes with their community. Care Homes across the country opened their doors to local communities for a week in June to give a glimpse of the work they do to support thousands of people on a daily basis and encourage people to work or volunteer in the sector.
Speaking after the visit, Richard Fuller MP said:
I was delighted to visit Milton Ernest Hall and spend the morning talking to residents and their carers.
Care homes play a vital role for so many families and Care Home Open Week provides the opportunity to thank the thousands of staff for the incredible work they do in supporting residents.
