On Bank Holiday Monday, Richard visited Ickwell Green for their annual May Day celebrations, which include Morris Men, maypole dancing, a decorated hoop competition, a number of stalls and the crowning of the May Queen.
Speaking after the day's event, Richard Fuller MP said:
I thoroughly enjoyed the Ickwell May Day celebrations on Bank Holiday Monday.
These festivities date back to the 16th century and it's great to see such traditions continue to thrive some 500 years later.
It was also good to see so many people out enjoying the fine weather.
