Recently, Richard attended the digital launch of the World Watch List 2022. The World Watch List is Open Doorsโ annual ranking of the 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution.
Richard Fuller MP said:
Every year, Open Doors provide Members of Parliament with a detailed briefing on freedom of religious worship around the world. The World Watch List is the most comprehensive analysis of its kind and sadly over recent years has recorded increasing evidence of religious intolerance in many countries.
The right to worship freely is a fundamental human right and I see upholding this right as a key part of my role as your Member of Parliament.
At this yearโs meeting we learned more about the practice of Christian faith in Afghanistan, Niger and in China where, in particular, there are worrying signs of greater intolerance.
