On Friday, Richard held a drop-in surgery at Sharnbrook Village Hall.
Speaking after the event, Richard said:
I am very grateful to the many constituents who came to see me at my Sharnbrook surgery on Friday, and many apologies for those who had to wait some considerable time, particularly those who chose to wait outside on a bitterly cold January afternoon. By the very nature of a drop-in surgeries rather than those by appointment, I'm afraid this can sometimes result in long queues, especially when we get such a large turnout as we did on Friday. Although we ended up running for over double the originally allotted time, I'm pleased to report that everyone who came to the village hall was seen. Thanks to all for your patience.
A number of issues were raised with Richard, including several discussions surrounding local roads and house building. There was also considerable discussion around gatherings at Number 10 and Richard has posted his views on that topic here.
