Richard's freehold estate management charges petition text

This year, Richard has been working with local Councillors, Jim Weir, Sarah Gallagher, Leigh Coombs and Jon Gambold, and local residents and lobbying MPs in Parliament to bring forward changes to the law on estate management charges to improve the rights of homeowners.

North East Bedfordshire MP, Richard Fuller, said:

The laws governing estate management charges are a mess. Homeowners are not given enough information about what they are being charged for, cannot challenge the level of fees, and do not have enough rights to challenge bills they think are wrong or unfair.

I want the government to change the law to improve the rights of local homeowners.

And I think the government is listening. There is a chance that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak may be able to prioritise this issue in the last session of Parliament before the next General Election. If we miss this chance, there is no guarantee that a future government will change the law.

Will you help me persuade the Prime Minister to make these important changes to the law by adding your name to the petition at www.richardfuller.co.uk/petition

Richard will collate the names of those who have signed and present them to 10 Downing Street in October. To add your name to the petition, please visit: www.richardfuller.co.uk/petition
