The Countryside Alliance’s annual Awards are a celebration of UK food & farming, enterprise and heritage through our small hard-working businesses. The Rural Oscars are now in their nineteenth year and have become the definitive rural business award to win. They are set apart from other award schemes because they are driven by public nomination, offering customers the chance to tell us why their favourite businesses are worthy of national acclaim.
Richard Fuller MP said:
I am delighted that three businesses based in my constituency are finalists in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
Our finalists are:
- 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧'𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐞 in the Butcher category.
- 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 in the Village Shop/Post Office category
- 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 in the Rural Enterprise category.
Let's get behind these businesses and give them every chance of winning one of these prestigious awards and the honour of attending the House of Lords Champions’ Reception in July 2026.
