Since 2020, Richard Fuller MP has on four occasions objected to the planning application for 416 additional houses on land off Furzenhall Road, Biggleswade.
On the 23rd August, the application was considered by Central Beds Council's Development Management Committee and was refused unanimously by the councillors sitting on the Committee.
Richard's most recent letter of objection to the Council is below and details of his previous objections to the application can be found here: Richard's continued opposition to planning application for 416 additional properties in Biggleswade | Richard Fuller
Commenting after the Council's decision, Richard said: "I was pleased to see councillors using their powers to refuse this unsuitable application. Over more than three years I have set out my concerns about this application and many residents have done the same. It has been good to see so many people united in their opposition. Although there is a right of appeal against refusal, if one should materialise, I will continue to express my opposition to this application and I am sure that residents will do the same."
