Upcoming A1 weekend southbound closures

National Highways A1 Southbound Diversion Map

National Highways will be realigning the A1 southbound over a newly built culvert. This will require a closure of the A1 southbound between Wyboston and Tempsford from 9pm Friday 16th to 5am Monday 19th January 2026.

Please use this planned diversion route:

  • exit A1 southbound at Wyboston junction
  • take A428 towards St Neots
  • join St Neots Road southbound towards Tempsford
  • re-join A1 at Tempsford junction
