Richard has been contacted by Universal Destinations & Experiences with confirmation that they have submitted a planning request to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) seeking permission for an Entertainment Resort Complex at the former Brickworks at Kempston Hardwick, Bedford. The request is accompanied by a statement referred to as an Environmental Statement.

A consultation on the plans, drawings, Environmental Statement, and other associated documents submitted in connection with the proposal began at 12:00 on 3rd July 2025 and will end at 12:00 on 31st August 2025.

Richard Fuller MP said:

I have repeatedly stated that I am in favour of this development and the huge benefits it will bring to the local economy and therefore it is great to see the formal process of seeking planning approval get started.
