Richard recently addressed a Y13 assembly at Bedford School just before the students went on exam leave.

I thoroughly enjoyed addressing the Y13 assembly ahead of students departing for exam leave.
I shared a little about my journey into politics and my current role before taking questions on a wide range of topics including Conservative policies on net zero, student loans, the ECHR and UK debt and productivity.
We also discussed local election results and the rise of populist parties - a particularly topical discussion given the events of recent weeks. My thanks to Mr Vann and Mr Montgomery for inviting me.
