Back in March, Richard was interviewed on BBC Radio Northampton to discuss the tragic case of Cameron Arneaud who was killed on his motorbike by a driver who was in the country illegally and didn't have a legitimate driving license or insurance.
Richard Fuller MP said:
Cameron's family have launched a petition calling for it to be mandatory for drivers to provide a valid driving licence in order to get insurance as this would have highlighted the invalid license held by the driver who killed Cameron.
As with all Parliament petitions, if 10,000 signatures are secured then the government will formally respond to the request raised in the petition. In the event of the petition reaching 100,000 signatures then the issue will be considered for a debate in Parliament.
