Rural crime and firearms licensing were some of the topics covered at last Friday's Farmers' Forum in Stagsden.
Commenting, Richard Fuller MP said:
It was a good session last week which included members of the local farming and agricultural community, together with representatives of the NFU, Bedfordshire Police and the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Firearms Licensing team.
There was plenty of passionate and feisty discussion, but ultimately a recognition that despite still having a long way to go, progress is starting to be seen on the thorny issue of firearms licensing.
Richard also recorded this video summarising the meeting. You can read more about Richard's work on local delays with firearms licensing at https://www.richardfuller.co.uk/campaigns/firearms-licensing
