Richard recently held a town hall meeting at Great Denham Community Centre. Richard's town hall events provide an opportunity in a public forum to hear his views on current national and local issues and to ask him questions.
Speaking after the event, Richard Fuller MP said:
Many thanks to those who came to meet me in Great Denham. We discussed a number of areas including access to GPs and primary care, however the greatest focus was on the issue of estate management fees which blight this community in the same way that we have seen across other areas of my constituency.
There is a great deal of sympathy in Parliament for those who suffer the lack of transparency, poor levels of service and little accountability that characterise many of these estate management companies. I have a meeting scheduled with Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and will be pressing him not just on what will be done to provide added protections for residents, but crucially, how quickly these changes will be implemented.
I am grateful to local Councillors, Jim Weir and John Gambold, for attending and sharing their insights, as well as Leigh Coombs from New Cardington Residents Association for bringing his knowledge and experience from New Cardington to the meeting.
Richard's next town hall meeting is taking place at Biddenham Pavilion, Deep Spinney, Biddenham, MK40 4PZ on Thursday 30 March from 5.30-7pm
