Richard has again written to Central Bedfordshire Council to oppose the planning application CB/24/00999 for the Land North of Biggleswade. In alignment with Biggleswade Town Council and Central Bedfordshire Councillors' , Richard points out in his letter that the proposed access road falls outside the designated development site and encroaches on Biggleswade Common, violating the Local Plan. The planning application also raises safety concerns about overcrowded junctions and inadequate traffic modelling, especially near schools. The misrepresentation of the site’s sustainability and lack of pedestrian safety improvements is also concerning. Given these issues, Richard is urging the Development Management Committee to recommend refusal.
