Last week, Richard welcomed constituent, Olly Barrett from Stevington, at a Parliamentary reception for Apprentices of the Aerospace, Defence, Security & Space (ADS) industry.
More than 70 apprentices were in attendance to represent the 9,000 which span all 4 of ADS’ sectors.

Ollie, together with Paige from Stevenage, are two apprentices in the latest cohort working at MBDA and they both seemed very happy with how the start to their careers is progressing.
We listened to a number of speakers including one from the Education Secretary, Gillian Keegan, who completed an apprenticeship herself at General Motors in Kirkby on Merseyside.
