Richard welcomes Football Foundation investment in North East Bedfordshire for grassroots facilities

Football Foundation North East Bedfordshire

Richard has welcomed the investment to improve grassroots football facilities throughout North East Bedfordshire made possible by the Premier League, The FA and Government through Sport England.

Since 2000, 152 grants have been awarded in North East Bedfordshire totalling £900K and enabling 83 teams to be supported.

Richard Fuller MP said: 

I an delighted to see the investment and impact that the Premier League, the FA and DCMS's Football Foundation has had on grassroots facilities in North East Bedfordshire.

And there’s still more to come through their Local Football Facility Plans - a blueprint for providing the grassroots football facility improvements that each community needs.
