Just before the end of term, Richard visited Turvey Primary School to meet with students from Years 5 and 6.

During my visit I had a sit down interview with the students. I told them a little about what I do as a Member of Parliament and then they asked me a number of questions about my views and opinions. Being able to take the time to sit down and talk to my constituents, no matter their age, is always an opportunity that I enjoy and it was great to be able to answer questions on topics like smoking, how we vote in the House of Commons, and what I do during a typical week.
My thanks go out to Mis Amber Savage, the PSHCE Lead at Turvey Primary, for arranging the visit and giving me a tour of the school.
I look forward to being able to visit Turvey Primary again in the future.
