This week, Richard visited the RSPB’s headquarters at The Lodge Nature Reserve in Sandy where he met with members of the policy team and the senior site manager.

After his visit, Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire said:

"I had positive discussions with the RSPB today about the Environmental Land Management scheme and the Environment and Planning Bills as well as enjoying a delightful walk around the reserve to see the ongoing work the local teams and volunteers have been doing to restore heathlands."

Six Dartmoor ponies have recently arrived at The Lodge to help restore the nature reserve through their natural grazing habits. The ponies will be here until the autumn when they will return to Dartmoor.
