Last week, Richard Fuller MP visited the works at Black Cat Roundabout and recorded this video: https://youtu.be/yi315uBMN-I?si=cdlqHzoHVuneS0_x
Speaking afterwards he said:
When I think about well-run infrastructure projects in North Bedfordshire with reasonable local support and community buy-in, I think about the work currently being done at the Black Cat Roundabout and surrounding area – the single largest road project currently being developed in the country.
Unlike East West Rail, which is on its third or fourth Chief Executive and seems determined to steamroll opposition with construction not due to start for another few years, the Black Cat Roundabout project continues apace, on time and on budget.
Last Friday I donned my hard hat and visited the site. We climbed up one of the newly constructed pillars that will form the support for the roundabout itself and had a look at all the work that has been completed.
