Earlier this summer, Richard returned to Biggleswade Job Centre to speak to staff and management.
Richard Fuller MP said:
We spoke at length about how the Job Centre is working to encourage people with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (both physical and mental) into work so they can develop new careers of their own. This includes an excellent technical partnership with the new Hugo Boss Warehouse in Biggleswade, where they have a new high-tech set of systems which provide great support for the disabled. I plan to visit the warehouse to see it for myself.
We also spoke about the future of the DWP and how reorganisation is coming down the tracks. I am confident that the Job Centre understand the scale of change that they are being asked to undertake and that they will continue to deliver a good service to their customers in North Bedfordshire.
A very interesting visit and I look forward to returning soon to see how these initiatives continue to bed in and support my constituents.
