Last Friday Richard visited the new Bedford Greenacre School facilities on Manton Heights and was taken on a tour by their Principal, Ian Daniel.

Bedford Greenacre Independent (BGI) have been trying to move sites for many years despite a number of challenges thrown their way. The coronavirus pandemic, planning concerns, inflationary pressure being felt by the construction sector and Labour’s VAT increase on private school fees have all played their part in delaying the process and frustrating both parents and students alike.
During my tour we viewed a lot of subject lessons including the more standard academic subjects like maths and the three sciences, but we also took the time to visit the school’s excellent SEN provision – a powerful reminder of the support that can be given to those who need it in schools like this one.
