Richard recently raised with the Leader of the House the issue of the very poor handling of the transfer in administration of the government's Help to Buy scheme and the considerable issues that this has caused a number of his constituents.
Last week Richard raised this topic again with the Minister for Housing and Planning, Rachel Maclean MP, during Housing Questions in the House of Commons. The full exchange can be watched at https://youtu.be/Xz4L35WAruU.
Richard Fuller MP said:
Recent changes in the administration of the Help to Buy scheme have been communicated very poorly and have caused a great deal of anxiety and distress to a number of my constituents.
In her reply to me, the Housing Minister acknowledged that there had been serious issues but reassured me that provisions were in place to resolve the situation and to ensure that phone calls were answered and emails responded to.
